Directed by Matt Schultz himself, the surreal three-minute clip is full of unsettling images like lovers kissing while covered in blood, two girls hammering nails into their own hands, and a cult gathered in an underground tunnel in their underwear, preceded by Matt Schultz who bursts into song and dance in his tighty-whities! The second single from the album arrived on March 15 only to confirm that emotional turmoil is not going to hold Cage the Elephant back. They got a fresh perspective from Beck, who they apparently met at an event and then sent the song over to.
Schultz craftily handles the enjambed lyrics and the delivery teeters on rap sometimes but then eases into the familiar Cage the Elephant delivery.

Nick Bockrath did the majority of the string arrangements. A lot of them were substitutes for stuff that we took out, so around the same melodically. And then me and Matt would come in and reorder some parts or add something in. But for the most part Nick wrote a lot of the string arrangements. I know some of the takes were recorded at the Ryman in Nashville. Growing up less than an hour away in Bowling Green, Kentucky, what was it like to finally play such a historic venue?
It was amazing! For our band things get so crazy, we were worried that it would be a little bit too crazy to play there.
