ABBA Voyage - in concert
A spectacular light show utilizing 20 lighting rigs and over 500 moving lights add to the visual spectacle, helping create the illusion that you have travelled back in time and the four members of ABBA are there, performing on stage in front of you. The magic is temporarily broken whenever the avatars address the audience and their pre-recorded words are drowned out by the crowd rather than pausing and milking the applause as any seasoned real-life performer would instinctively do. But the show moves at such a fast visually stimulating pace that these awkward moments are fleeting and soon forgotten. There are also playful nods to the digital artifice on display with the four characters routinely joking about how good they look for their age or pretending to struggle to get into their costumes. The Dance Floor is the best area for a more concert-like feel. These tickets are general admission, and there is no seating available. Seated tickets will ensure you have a reserved seat whilst still being able to dance the night away. There are no obstructed seated views. ABBA Voyage was made using a process called motion capture.
Please bear in mind This event is suitable for those over 6 years old. Children under 3 will not be allowed into the venue, those 16 or under with ABBA Voyage tickets must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit in the arena on their own. Нет, такой релиз в стиле старых добрых ABBA, в том стиле, в котором они завоевали мир, выглядит мог бы выглядеть очень достойно, ведь легендам уже незачем пытаться угнаться за трендами. Но в итоге все кажется не очень проработанным. То есть вроде бы есть и типичные для ABBA инструментовки, оркестр, и красивые мелодии, и нежный вокал, аккуратные электронные инструменты.
Но волей-неволей замечаешь недоработки в плане качества — тут не очень отстроено по звуку, тут плохо сведено, тут фальшиво спели, почему не перепели? С этим уже ничего не поделаешь — к 2021 году ухо уже привыкло к хорошему, и скидок на старенькое оборудование никак уж не сделать. Особенно для такой группы, как ABBA. Есть, правда, и интересные треки, например, Keep An Eye On Dan — его и подпевать удобно, и потанцевать можно, а такое начало, как тут, можно и вовсе услышать в некоторых относительно современных треках. Кроме проблем со звуком, нельзя не отметить некоторые неоднозначные тексты. В той же Little Things можно считать смысл о сексуальных мыслях отца в отношении детей.
Впрочем, такие истории, когда девушку что-то не устраивает, она решается на разрыв, а потом сама же и жалеет об этом, несмотря на то что ее возлюбленный не очень добросовестный человек, не чужды группе ABBA.
